Know who’s playing
The week’s signup is the roster. You are not rebuilding a headcount from the group text.
Players sign up, you set the pairings, and the group scores on their phones. Skins, stroke play, and closest to the pin settle from that round. You publish the results, and the money standings and history stay with the group.
Running a weekly golf game shouldn't feel like a second job, but the emails, texts, and last-minute changes never stop.
By the first tee, you're still figuring out who's playing with who. Then come the scorecards and the math. Everyone waits for the results, and long after the round is over, you're still working.
There's a better way. With Grey Tabby Golf, you set up the game once. Players sign themselves up. No texts, no chasing people down. Real-time score entry during the round. And when the round is over, the results are ready while the beer is still cold.
No spreadsheets, no scorecard math, no late-night clean-up. You get your evening back.
Grey Tabby Golf. Running the game shouldn't be harder than playing it.
The organizer
Grey Tabby Golf is for the person who already runs the weekly game.
The week’s signup is the roster. You are not rebuilding a headcount from the group text.
Course, handicaps, flights, pairings, and the competitions for the round stay with the event.
Gross skins, net skins, low gross stroke play, low net stroke play, closest to the pin, Final 4 Net, and Nassau settle from the scores the group already posted.
The organizer reviews, then publishes. Money standings and statistics remain after the round.
Competitions
Gross skins, net skins, low gross stroke play, low net stroke play, and Final 4 Net are calculated from the same hole scores. Closest to the pin is entered on the par 3s and published with that round. Nassau awards the front nine, the back nine, and the overall 18 in each flight.
The unique lowest gross score on a hole wins that skin, in each flight.
The unique lowest net score on a hole wins that skin, in each flight.
Low Gross is the lowest completed 18-hole gross total in the flight.
Low Net is the lowest completed 18-hole net total in the flight.
Nearest to the pin on the par-3 holes the organizer selects.
The lowest net total on holes 15 through 18, in each flight.
Every gross score of 2 earns a share of the Deuces competition, regardless of par.
Three ways to win: front nine, back nine, and overall 18. Compete within your flight using gross scores, net scores, or both. Ties are settled by scorecard countback.

How it works
Players say they are in for the week, change their mind, and leave a request without a side thread.
Handicaps, flights, pairings, and the competitions are ready before the first tee.
Hole-by-hole scoring is a phone browser. There is no app to install.
Skins, stroke play, Nassau, and closest to the pin come out of that same round.
The organizer reviews, then publishes. The scorecards, money, and history stay with the group.
